“When I tell the righteous people that they will live
but then they sin, expecting their past righteousness to save them
then none of their righteous acts will be remembered. I will destroy them”
-Ezekiel 33:13 NLT
Pondering Thoughts
Simply believing
Does that mean we are saved?
Even the demons believe and declare you are the son of God. [i]
Does that mean they are saved?
There is such a heavy emphasis on church attendance[ii]
And a deliberate omission of repentance.
Reading the Word, praying or having any intimacy with the Holy Spirit is barely spoken of.
Yet the church teaches that participation and serving is enough [iii]
A genuine relationship is what You really deserve.
Examining the heart is what You really observe.[iv]
Many do not really change, just put on a facade and behave.
Once saved, always saved.
Another contradiction taught in the church.
I’d rather rely on what is said in your Word.
There are many scriptures that make the inference that one can lose their salvation.
How can one say I will always be saved no matter what?
After learning the truth, what if I choose to continue to deliberately sin? [v]
I don’t understand how your grace is taken for granted.
What if I take the mark of the beast?[vi]
What if I compromise so that the world is not displeased?[vii]
You are still a righteous, just and Holy God.
By manmade traditions, can salvation really be bought?
The church should wonder, these are serious pondering thoughts.
